Long shot:-
- Shows where action is taking place
- Allows audience to follow broad movements
- Shows relative positions of subjects
- Establishes mood
Creates intamacy, honesty and emotion. Often can cause discomfort.
High-Angle:-
This shot makes the charecter become weak. Audience has a sense of domination over charecter.
Pan shots:-
You move with the charecter.
Very long shot:-
Sense of place, setting, atmosphere.
Closer/Mid-shots:-
Allows audience to take a detached view without personal involvement.
Today in my group, we played around outside with these different styles of recording, we also were given a work sheet and we were given a few examples of scenarios to act out using the camera angles we were taught last lesson.
